Today we were walking at the lakeside at Trentham and I decided to photograph birds in flight.
Buzzards wheeling in the sky - riding the thermals
Cormorant - off on the hunt for fish
Ducks - food handout at the other end of the lake
Gull and Cormorant in formation (B & W)
Geese skimming the lake surface
Heron - returning to its nesting site
Geese on a mission
Jay - grubbing on the forest edge
