Hawk attack

With additional bird feeders in the garden, a large number of local birds are always attracted to feed.  This shows no distinction between the seed and grub feeders and others.

Our local sparrow hawk had starling for lunch today.  Not a sparrow to be seen.  They were all frozen still in the holly hedge and the laurel hedge along with the tits, dunnocks and other small birds. It is always still and quiet in the garden when there is a hawk about.
