Out and about

There has been a significant amount of fox poo on our garden recently.  The dog foxes are marking territorial boundaries and leaving calling cards.

This fellow was caught in the act at 10:50pm, the camera shake shows in the dark.  Of course, If I clean up the mess, they are bound to leave more markers, so I have left the most recent poo and the additional stuff has now stopped being added.

Fish - What fish!

This is the old road from Castleton to Edale, around Mam Tor in Derbyshire.  I can remember in the 1970's when this road was carrying traffic and was a main tourist route around the south pennines.  The road collapsed in a land slide many years ago and has slipped more in the last decade.  It was not a good idea to build a road around the "shivering mountain".
