Last Minute Christmas Shopping

Newcastle under Lyme had a Farmers Market. It was graced by a Tudor Musician playing a hurdy-gurdy and generally entertaining the shopping public. Quite a treat to walk around in my lunch break. It cheered my up whilst I was shopping for hand lotion to combat my rough fingers in the cool winter days.
Longton was also in on the musical scene, with the Salvation Army Band playing at the shopping centre bandstand. By now it was drizzeling with rain, but the music could easily be heard from the doorway of the post office.
Tomorrow evening, I hope to walk the streets and take a few pictures of the Christmas decorations in the neighbourhood. If the pictures are worthy I shall post some of them on the blog.
