Springwatch is here

Springwatch is on the telly. Yesterday there were lots of film shots of small birds and Max was glued to the screen. He is a cat that seldom notices TV, but yesterday he was bouncing about, watching the blue tits and green finches with avid interest. Bill Oddy would have been proud of his feline fan.

Today it was Chloe who was fixated by the birds on screen. The first chirp and her ears were up - a second and she was sitting bolt upright - a third chirp and she was on the cabinet in front of the screen to get a closer look. It is not often that she gets so animated about anything and it is the first time I have seen her notice what is on the telly.
We are now looking forwart to the Monday installment to see how Tom responds to the TV wildlife adventures.
