Cormorants

Today, after a lengthy dental appointment, we went for a walk around the lake at Trentham.  I was surprised to see lots of Cormorants, counting 15 visible to me at one point.  They were perched in trees and swimming on the water.  I cannot recall seeing this many in the lake at any one time.
This is an overlay of a Cormorant taking off from the lake.  It is essentially 3 photographs taken in quick succession of the same cormorant, from the same point, then joined using photoshop.
This flying composite is a bit of a cheat.  The same technique was used, but the vegetation in the foreground was in the first shot and did not fit well, so the images have been stitched together in the wrong order.  The bird image on the left should be on the right side of the picture, and vice-versa.  The effect is not so good here.
