Underwater

Just for fun I decided to try out my new 40mm macro lens with under water images.
This is a photoshop composite of a water flea (Daphnia) from 3 images.  This little beast is only 1mm in size, and I am quite pleased with my picture.  The organism is seen to be carrying eggs in its brood pouch (dark grey bits).
This is a female cyclops, dragging two egg pouches behind her.
Here, on the left is a male cyclops.  On the right is a copopod which I cannot identify.  Perhaps I shall have a go under the microscope next time.
