Post-Christmas

Rosie and I went for an early morning walk on the Christmas bank holiday to freshen ourselves up a but. It was cold and dry and the sun was low in the sky.

Stoke-on-Trent is a green City and it is possible to walk around most of it on open land or green belt footpaths.

On our return we walked past "Sammy's Pool" which is used by the local fishing club.  It is a well stocked fish pool with water lilies that adorn it in the Summer season.

The reflections on the calm water are fabulous in this early morning light. - off home for coffee now......
