First snow of Winter

I have now finished my last joint flight simulator project for 2020.  This is the Helimed Air Ambulance base at RAF Cosford.  It has been an interesting challenge.
This morning I looked out of the window and saw snow.  With lockdown and a bank holiday, there is not a footprint or tyre track in sight at 08:00 am.
The first chore of the day is to clear a path down the drive and another to my neighbours door nextdoor.  No point in clearing the whole drive as I have no intention of getting the car out of the garage.
Then its a quick clearing of the bird feeders to reload them - and to survey the rest of the garden.  There are a few shrubs sagging under the strain of the weight of snow.
Alas, the Heath Robinson garden cage has collapsed inder the weight of snow.  This was an old scrap Summer gazebo frame and a roll of insect netting.  The pole joints have bent under the strain and the frame is now only fit for scrap again......  However, it served us well over the summer and allowed a good "badger damage free" crop, with only parsnip and beetroot left to harvest.

Time for a well earned morning coffee!

Is that helipad real or is it the one you made?

Saw pics of quite deep snow in Ashfield, 10 miles away. There has to a 'snow line' close by.
